Sinusitis, also known as sinus infection, is the inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinuses. Most commonly it is a result of a viral infection. Symptoms may include thick nasal mucus, mucosal affections in general (stomach, duodenum, around the eye, bladder), stuffy nose, facial pain, fever, headaches, sore throat, sneezing, cough, stiff neck, dizziness, fatigue, snoring, restless sleep, fatigue, tonsillitis, enlarged lymph nodes, twitching eyelids, ringing in the ear, toothache, lack of appetite, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, leg cramps at night, night sweats, and difficulty falling asleep and waking up.
