Nicotinamide Riboside is an alternative form of vitamin B3 and is converted by the body to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a coenzyme that is essential for metabolism. NAD+ is necessary to convert food into energy, repair damaged DNA, fortify cellular defense system, and setting the body's internal clock or circadian rhythm. Nicotinamide Riboside may be used to reverse the signs of aging from inside the body. It stimulates the production of NAD+ and thus helps fight general fatigue, promotes healthy cellular metabolism and energy production, encourages youthful cognitive function, promotes longevity, lowers the risk of heart disease, helps with weight loss, and decreases the risk of cancer.
