Hi Sun, yes, it is normal for the IC Hummer to heat up if the sound volume is set to more than 80% (for some ICs more than 60%). You can lower the audio volume if you don't like the heat.

Can the slot for the IC Hummer be 1-2 mm narrower. The belt slips out easily, making the device at risk of falling into the toilet when forgetting itโ€™s wrapped around the back. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ This didnโ€™t happen. Luckily, it fell off after I left the bathroom. What does one do it falls into water? Is the device ruined?

Hi Sun, thank you for your suggestion. We will make improvements. IC Hummer is not waterproof, it will probably stop working if falls into the water.

How much benefit is there to letting an IC run multiple cycles?

Hi Matt, thank you for your question! selecting the number of repeats (cycles) is made for different transfer devices. For example, Circuit IC Pad does not have an amplifier inside and it takes more time to imprint ICs with it. But also, using Glowing IC Pad if you do few repeats, it should make prepared water have a stronger effect.
