Gastroparesis is a condition that affects the normal spontaneous movement of the muscles (motility/peristalsis) in your stomach. Ordinarily, strong muscular contractions propel food through your digestive tract. But if you have gastroparesis, your stomach's motility is slowed down or doesn't work at all, preventing your stomach from emptying properly. Symptoms can include indigestion, a bloated stomach with upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Consequently if GERD develops as a result of the Gastroparesis these symptoms can also include Acid reflux and heartburn. The cause of gastroparesis include, complication of diabetes, abdominal surgery, long term use of certain medications and finally, the most common cause, The Vagus Nerve. In order to treat this condition we recommend that you first run one of our bespoke Vagus Nerve PEMFs before running this PEMF in order to restore Vagus Nerve function. For best results place the IC Pad on your abdomen for both programs and be sure to drink 1.5/2 litres of water a day.
