








White peony, also known as bai shao, is a flowering plant and its root has been used in ancient Chinese medicine for over 1000 years. It contains phytoestrogens, which are compounds that are thought to have estrogen-like effects on the body. Additionally, white peony contains paeoniflorin, a compound thought to have anti-cancer and antioxidant properties.
