Sumatriptan is perhaps the most commonly prescribed medication for the treatment of migraine and cluster headaches. It is recommended that this IC be used at the earliest possible awareness that a cluster or migraine headache might be developing, drinking a liter of IC water within the first 20 minutes, and continuing with more IC water as necessary.

Does the IC sumatriptan actually bring on the physical process of a vasoconstrictor? As in, does taking this IC actually constrict blood vessels?
