Blueberry

Blueberries are often considered to be a superfood and have the highest antioxidant value of any fruit. It is rich in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, manganese as well as a compound called anthocyanin, which is an antioxidant and gives blueberries their blue color. Blueberries may be used to help protect against aging, prevent cancer, lower blood pressure, protect against heart disease, maintain brain function, improve memory, lower blood sugar levels, improve insulin sensitivity, fight urinary tract infection, reduce muscle damage after vigorous exercise, lower inflammation, maintain healthy skin, and help with digestion.
