Resveratrol is a natural compound found in a variety of plants such as red grapes, Japanese knotweed, peanuts, blueberries, and mulberries. It’s believed that resveratrol is like an antioxidant and can protect the body from cellular damage. It may be used to help lower blood pressure, promote heart health, protect the brain and slow down age-related cognitive decline, improve insulin sensitivity, help ease joint pain and inflammation, and suppress cancer cells. Resveratrol may also be used for its anti-aging properties.
