Hydroxocobalamin is a unique form of Vitamin B12, which is more readily converted in the body to both methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin (two coenzyme forms of Vitamin B12). As a result, hydroxocobalamin serves as an effective broad-spectrum form of Vitamin B12. Hydroxocobalamin is often used to help treat people with serious Vitamin B12 deficiencies.
