Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease caused by the toxoplasma gondii. The infection usually occurs by eating undercooked contaminated meat, exposure from infected cat feces, or mother-to-child transmission during pregnancy. Toxoplasmosis may be used to help with eye affections, flu-like symptoms, central nervous system inflammation, anxiety, impaired judgment, risk-taking behavior, detachment, manipulative tendencies, the need for security and control, changeable mood, and " cat people".
