Bismuth inhibits the production of hydrogen sulfide in the gastrointestinal tract. As such it can be a valuable therapy for the reduction of gas and bloating. This formula combines bismuth with deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL), aloe vera, and berberine. It should be considered in the treatment of ulcers, SIBO, and general gastrointestinal upset. It has an anti-microbial effect while also providing symptom relief.
