Cannabigerol (CBG) is a cannabinoid acquired from the cannabis plant and is often considered the โ€œmother of all cannabinoidsโ€ since other cannabinoids (like THC) are made from cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), an acidic form of CBG. CBG may help reduce pain and inflammation, support a healthy appetite, fight bacterial infections, and reduce oxidative stress. It may also help improve mood, motivation, anxiety, libido, and inflammation.
