Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) is a type of omega-3 fatty acid that is abundantly found in oily fish, such as salmon. It may be used to help improve heart health, enhance vision, fight inflammation, support fetal development, protect against depression, support brain health, alleviate symptoms related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), support muscle recovery after exercise, improve blood circulation, lower blood pressure, and support men’s reproductive health. DHA is also important for brain development during pregnancy and early childhood.
