Hi, I had a bone graft in my upper jaw on Friday 10 April, everything was fine until I woke up this morning (Sunday 12th April)with my upper lip being swollen, it would seem I have got some bacteria from food (I think) that has somehow gotten in (maybe in the stitched areas) I have only been allowed to eat soft foods and no chewing allowed.ย  What is the best... Lynne, thank you for sharing - and this is important to approach carefully.

Based on your symptoms (swelling after a recent bone graft), this may be part of a post-surgical inflammatory response, but it could also indicate a developing infection, especially around the stitched area.

First priority (very important)
Since this involves recent dental surgery:

I do have an appointment today, but there is no pain,  bleeding,  fever or discharge, just a bit of swelling, I will however work with the IC's you suggested, thank you for your prompt help and advise
