Catโ€™s Claw is a tropical woody vine that is native to the Amazon rainforest and other parts of South and Central America. It has been used for centuries in South America as traditional medicine. There are two species of Catโ€™s Claw commonly used in North America and Europe, which are Uncaria tomentosa and Uncaria guianensis. Catโ€™s Claw may be used to help boost your immune system, reduce symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, reduce inflammation, decrease fever, fight cancer, enhance DNA repair, decrease high blood pressure (hypertension), improve symptoms of Crohnโ€™s, and treat gastric ulcers.
