Prochlorperazine is most commonly used in the prevention of cancer-treatment-associated nausea and vomiting. It is also used to treat migraine headaches and vertigo associated with labyrinthitis. Fatigue and sedation are common side effects. Do not use this IC 6 hours prior to driving or use of other heavy equipment. First-time use should be done in a controlled environment in order to gauge individual tolerance and reaction.
