joke van asselt, what youโ€™re describing sounds very consistent with retrocalcaneal bursitis associated with Haglundโ€™s deformity, where pain is felt at the back of the heel rather than underneath the foot, often making closed shoes uncomfortable or difficult to wear. You may wish to try the following ICs:

Inflammation and Pain: may help reduce local inflammation and discomfort in joints and surrounding soft tissue.

A Haglund's deformity is a bony protrusion at the back of the heel bone (calcaneus), just above the attachment of the Achilles tendon. This bump can cause friction with the shoe, irritation of the bursa and ultimately inflammation or chronic pain. This is also known as Haglund's syndrome, especially when combined with bursitis and tendon problems.

Cold Complete PEMF - may help with upper/lower respiratory issues. Apply the IC Pad on or under your cat when it lies down, typically 1-2... See more

Kerry McKinnon shared experience on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)

This IC has worked wonders on my perimenopausal frozen shoulder. Much less pain and more movement - some days I can't feel it all anymore, after months of limited movement and discomfort. Works great for sore legs after hikes too.
