Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) is a synthetic compound that is widely used as a food preservative. It is an antioxidant and has been used as an antiviral agent against hepatitis B, hepatitis C, Epstein Barr virus, herpes virus, genital herpes, and cold sores. This IC was made with the help of BHT and vitamin C.
