Silicea, also known as silica or quartz, is a homeopathic remedy that may help reduce fatigue and irritability caused by excessive work. It also may help with abscesses, skin eruptions, ulcers, ingrown nails, styes, splinters, blocked tear ducts, dry and brittle hair, dry and brittle nails, eczema, psoriasis, constipation, keloids, and scars. Silicea 1000K is a particular potency of Silicea, equivalent to 9CH as per the Korsakovinan scale (which includes lower potencies).
