Hi, when I use IC Hummer, do I place it on the red skin area directly?

Hi, I tried up to the 4 minute mark on the audible however even though I didn't have it loud their was a lot of pressure in my ears. i stopped for this reason but I would like to see if it might make a difference to my psoriasis. Do you know the reason for this? Tania
