Hydrangea root is high in flavonoids (such as quercetin) and has traditionally been used as an herbal remedy for various conditions including urinary tract infections (UTI) and kidney stones. It may also be used to help reduce inflammation, treat prostate and bladder infections, reduce the size of an enlarged prostate, improve kidney health, lower blood sugar levels, protect the liver, fight parasitic infections, reduce the pain of rheumatoid arthritis and gout, and boost immune system function.
