Oregano oil is derived from oregano and is rich in antioxidants (such as phenols, terpenes, and terpenoids) as well as anti-inflammatory compounds. Oregano oil may be used to help with poor digestion, nausea, nasal congestion, sore throats, cold sores, muscle and joint pain, inflammation, weight loss, yeast infections, cold and flu symptoms, gingivitis, Athlete’s foot, toenail fungus, toothaches, acne, dandruff, warts, rosacea, psoriasis, varicose veins, and support immune system. It may also be used as a natural antibiotic and antifungal agent.
