Hi Beverley, the first link regarding the actual compound mentioned that it can be used for animals as well, but maybe not cats: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1509670/ But in respect to IC form there should be no negative effects.

Hi Tom, I would suggest placing IC Hummer on a sternum.
