If you meant transferring the SAME IC, you heard little noise but another time you don’t, check the connection of your wire AND the volume in your setting.
If you meant while transferring an IC you notice little noice but another IC you don’t, and the connection and the volume is as usual, that is completely normal - different ICs carry different frequencies so they make different sounds/ noise.

I hope you enjoy using your circuit IC pad as much as I do - how compact and reliable it is due to no charging is needed (yet it uses the battery of your connecting device)
Sharon Milroy, if you are using the Glowing IC Pad, it is designed to operate completely silently - it should not make any noise during transfer. If GlowPad is not connected properly to your phone or laptop, the phone or laptop will be making sound during the transfer.
