I used a quality bass-balanced speaker and made sure the volume was at a level that was aesthetically audible without being interruptive to falling asleep. First time I've tried this and I fell asleep immediately. I am eager to try this again on continuous loop.
Sorry to bother you again D, what are your speakers, I need to get some and I found without being able to test in a shop these days, it's extremely difficult to find decent ones that are loud enough but not too big.

Ava No bother! I love learning and sharing experiences. Just forgive me if it takes a couple of days to respond. I use the brand JBL; the specific one I use is the JBL Charge 4 portable Bluetooth speaker. It features two JBL bass radiators that intensify sound with strong deep bass (low tones). Using a speaker that is bass balanced is key for getting the binaural beats, so look for a brand that touts having a good quality bass sound. I would like to point out that a binaural beat is purportedly only heard via headphones because binaural beats use two tones (sound frequencies), a different one to each ear. This isn't an option for me for sleeping as I cannot fall asleep with earbuds or headphones on. Having a well placed, well made speaker suffices in my humble opinion, but if you want to achieve the absolute most out of this audible, some would argue that headphones are needed for achieving the binaural beat. That said, I can attest to my own uninterrupted sleep (brainwave synchronization) success with this audible using a speaker instead of headphones, so the benefit is felt regardless of whether I'm actually hearing the binaural beat. The takeaway here is that getting the most out of audible IC's means using a good speaker or headphone that removes artifact and distortion, and supports a robust range of sound frequencies.
I hope that helped. Good luck on your sleep journey.
