Fiona I was having this problem as well. Clear your all-time browser history + cookies. After I did this the IC pad transfers ect. were normal again.

Hi Fiona, it seems problem is not with IC Pad, as if you disconnect it and start the transfer there is no sound coming from your iPad. Can you please try to use other computer or phone and see if you have sound on them. I personally had the same issue on desktop Mac, sound stoped after few seconds, I switched from Safari to Chrome and it worked. Then after few days Safari started to work again. You can also check if you have any updates available for your iPad.
