Ayahuasca is a psychoactive drink made using the leaves of the Psychotria Viridis plant and the stalks of the Banisteriopsis Caapi vine. It was originally used for spiritual and religious purposes by ancient Amazonian tribes and is still used in regions of the Amazon for medicinal and spiritual purposes. Both the Psychotria Viridis and Banisteriopsis Caapi are known to have hallucinogenic properties. Psychotria Viridis contains N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a strong psychedelic compound, and Banisteriopsis Caapi contains ฮฒ-carbolines, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), which stops the body from breaking down DMT. Together, these plants form a powerful psychedelic drink that affects the central nervous system, leading to an altered state of consciousness and feelings of euphoria. Ayahuasca may be used to help support brain health, stimulate neural growth, as well as increase mindfulness and improve psychological well-being. It may also be used to help treat anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and addiction disorders.

I've trialed the Aya IC twice now. Most recently before a meditation session with my Heartmath device to take HRV measurements. And similar to my experience with real Aya in the Andes mountains of South America, I found it totally underwhelming. When I tried real Aya I drank TWO cups and then spent several hours meditating and watching some sort-of-cool geometric hallucinations on the back of my eyelids. With this IC Aya I can discern no effects. I had a nice, relaxing (yet unremarkable) meditation session on it. My HRV score was similarly unremarkable. So nothing to write home about yet. Although, I'll try it again and report back if I commune with aliens on the moon or anything. Of the psychedelic ICs, Psilocybin is my favorite, I enjoy that imprinted on a nonalcoholic beer.

I think this IC does not act like when you take the plant directly. Maos much more subtly. I will try this Thursday as part of a ceremony.

I mixed up this IC (3 day method) and drank 1/2 and found I became irritable and anxious for about an hour afterwards. Did I take too much? Whatโ€™s the most effective method to take it? Thanks in advance!

I did a ceremony years back in the Andes and two cups of Ayahuasca had a very subtle effect on me. Look forward to trying it as an IC.
