Dill, sometimes referred to as dill weed, is an aromatic herb in the celery family and has been used for culinary and medicinal purposes for hundreds of years. Dill may be used to help boost energy and aid digestion problems such as loss of appetite, intestinal gas (flatulence), and liver problems. It may also be used to help with urinary tract disorders, kidney disease, painful or difficult urination, colds and fever, boost immune system function, nerve pain, arthritis pain, menstrual cramps, depression, and sleep disorders (insomnia).
