Pregnenolone could be called the "master" steroid hormone. Made from cholesterol, pregnenolone is the precursor to progesterone and DHEA, which are themselves precursor to cortisol, testosterone, estrogens, and dozens of other steroid hormone intermediates. Pregnenolone is indicated for fatigue, chronic inflammation, low immunity, depression, and general adrenal gland support.
