Cornflower has a wide variety of medicinal uses. As a nervine, it can help reduce stress and anxiety, and is also helpful for women around menses to reduce cramping and other symptoms of PMS. It is used topically for skin rashes and irritations, and also for eye inflammation and infections. Digestively it is a bitter and thus can help with constipation, gas, bloating, and indigestion. Its high biotin content and other constituents make it helpful in strengthening hair and nails as well.
