IP-6, also known as inositol hexaphosphate, is a naturally occurring polyphosphorylated carbohydrate that is found in mammalian cells, various plants, cereals, legumes, and nuts. It may be used to help treat and prevent cancer (including prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, and blood cancers) as well as reduce the side effects of cancer therapies. IP-6 may also be used to help prevent kidney stones, promote heart health, manage diabetes, lower cholesterol levels, boost the immune system, and decrease age-related diseases.
