This PEMF was created by Sean Durkan, BSc (Hons) Osteopathy and FSM Practitioner, at Fsmworks.com, who also leads an exclusive Infopathy Sports performance group called,
"Sports Injury Community".
This PEMF Chronic Shin Splints involve ongoing irritation of the periosteum, tibialis posterior, tibialis anterior, and deep fascial tissues along the tibia. Repetitive overload and poor biomechanics cause inflammation, traction, and micro-trauma and scarring leading to persistent shin pain during running and impact activity. Without correcting contributing faults, symptoms can progress toward stress injury or fracture.
This PEMF contains frequencies that reduce inflammation, breakdown scar tissue, reduce pain and stiffness whilst improving Mitochondrial function, tissue function and structure. Chronic Shin splints usually imply that foot mechanics are an issue that need to be addressed with the use of orthotics supplied by a Podiatrist
