Black Cumin Seed Oil, also known as Black Seed Oil, has been used for its therapeutic properties for thousands of years. Black seeds grow on a small flowering shrub called Nigella sativa. Black seeds contain thymoquinone, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound that may have tumor-reducing properties. It may be used to help with weight loss, improve skin conditions (such as eczema, acne, and psoriasis), soften skin, heal wounds, treat cancer and diabetes, help with liver and kidney function, reduce inflammation, lower high blood pressure, decrease high cholesterol levels, support thyroid function, reduce asthma symptoms, improve rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, support optimal immune system function, balance both immune and inflammatory responses, boost metabolism, support body's natural detoxification process, decrease eye redness, as well as reduce the secretion of stomach acid to eliminate the occasional acid reflux and digestive problems including stomach pain and constipation. Black Cumin Seed Oil also has strong antifungal activity against Candida albicans.
