Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is indicated for pain of all types, especially arthritic pain. It is also essential in the treatment of allergies and hay fever. MSM suppresses the cytokines that lead to weight loss in cancer patients, so it is highly indicated in cancer. MSM has been used to promote hair growth, speed recovery from sports injuries, and treat a condition of chronic bladder pain called interstitial cystitis.
