L-glutamine is an amino acid that has a broad range of uses. It is the primary fuel for cells of the small intestine, making it essential for addressing leaky gut, SIBO, and other intestinal issues. It is also in cancer therapy for the treatment of chemotherapy-related neuropathies. L-glutamine is required for the functioning of white blood cells, so it is indicated in any conditions of low immunity including colds, flu, or other infections. It can help build muscle mass and improve energy overall, and is a one of the three amino acids necessary in building the master antioxidant called glutathione.
